II filmulet: interviu Tom Davenport: Innovate like Google
-organize & innovate
1st knowledge based organization: the way they manage their
people, the way they hire, the way they stimulate intellectual, etc. it
all adds up to high-quality ideas.
-incredible products
-you cant emulate everything that they do. A number of things that
they do are emulated by other organizations. a lot of the ideas how
to threat people can do every organization.
-its relatively easy to do testing in a web-based company.
-Google has high-tolerance for failure!

-it is a cultural trade: this is an old idea that if u want to be

successful at some point you can fail, but they have a clear point of
failing so this answer can be a round. Not a lot of companies do as
Google: nobody can know the answer for sure.
-they dont fear to bring things up -> its accurate.: Google throws a
huge mass of products to its customers and Can the customer base
really observe all these innovations?
-Googles culture is about chaos: process for innovation: we can
track everything thats going on -> overly controlling. Strategy as
a chaos!!!
-hands-off idea: strong experiment around chaos: you cannot be
chaotic at a small scale. Google creates small tasks and their overall
environment seems chaotic: they dont end up introducing ideas
that dont make sense, etc.
-individual level: its what attracts people. They find very appealing
that even the lowest employer can have a big impact: sort of
openness.
