Rock Candy

-1 1/3 cup water

Step 1: Gather Materials
-4 Cups sugar
-2 tall skinny
glasses
-2 skewers
-2 clips
-spoon
-pot
-2 paper towels
-flavoring

step 2: Dip skewers

Dip end of
skewers in
water and
roll in sugar.
Set aside to

step 3: heat stove

Put the stove
on a boil, and
wait for it to
heat up.

step 4: add water and

sugar to pot
Pour 1 1/3
cups of water
into the pot
along with
the 4 cups of

Step 5: stir
Keep stirring
the sugar
into the
water until it
is completely

step 6: let it cool

Once
the
sugar
is all
dissolv
ed,

Step 7: add flavor and food

coloring
While the
solution
is
cooling,
place

solution
has cooled
for 10
minutes,

the cups.
