    WhenyouplugintheArduino,youmayhearasoundfromthecomputerandalittlepopupbubbleinthe
    bottomrightcornerofthescreenthatsaysFoundNewHardwareArduinoUNO

    Afterafewseconds,thenewhardwarewizardwillstart.Select"Nonotthistime"andclickNext>

    Atthenextscreen,selectInstallfromalistorspecificlocation

    AtthenextscreenmakesureIncludethislocationisselectedandbrowsetotheArduinoIDEfolderand
    selectthedriversfolder.SelectthefolderandclickOK

    Itshouldcopysomefilesandthencomeupwiththiswindow.ClickFinish

    Almostimmediately,anotherwindowwillpopup,thistimeitwillbeawarning.ClickContinueAnyway

    Anditshouldcompletesuccessfully!

    Whenthecomputerisdonerebooting,makesuretheArduinoispluggedin(andthegreenlightislit).Go
    totheDeviceManager(FromtheStartMenu,selectSettings>ControlPanel.Doubleclick
    onSystemandselecttheHardwaretab.ThenclickontheDeviceManagerbutton)

    LookforanentryunderPorts(COM&LPT)thatsaysUSBSerialPort(COM)theCOMnumbermay
    varybutitshouldbesomethinglikeCOM3orCOM4.TheCOMstandsfor"communication",andeach
    onehasauniquenumber,knownastheCOMPortnumber.InthiscasetheCOMPortnumberisCOM3.
    Ifyoudon'tseetheCOMportverifytheArduinoispluggedin

    FTDIDriverInstallation(Windows)
    Ifyou'reusinganolderpreUNOarduino,you'llhavetoinstalltheFTDIdriver.
    WhenyouplugintheArduino,youmayhearasoundfromthecomputerandalittlepopupbubbleinthe
    bottomrightcornerofthescreenthatsaysFoundNewHardwareFT232RUSBUART

    Afterafewseconds,thenewhardwarewizardwillstart.Select"Nonotthistime"andclickNext>

    Atthenextscreen,selectInstallfromalistorspecificlocation

    AtthenextscreenmakesureIncludethislocationisselectedandbrowsetothefolderthatcontainsthe
    driveryoudownloaded.SelectthefolderandclickOK

    Itshouldcopysomefilesandthencomeupwiththiswindow.ClickFinish

    Almostimmediately,anotherwindowwillpopup,thistimeitwillsayUSBSerialPort.Asbefore,
    clickInstallfromalistorspecificlocation

    Browsetothesamefolderagain...

    Anditshouldcompletesuccessfully!

    Youmayneedtorebootthecomputer.

    Whenthecomputerisdonerebooting,makesuretheArduinoispluggedin(andthegreenlightislit).Go
