Ketogenic diet
The Ketogenic diet is one of the
oldest treatment for children with
epilepsy.
It basically is a diet of high-fat and
very low carbohydrate.
The patient has to eat very minimal
carbohydrates so the body wont burn
carbohydrates but can burn the fat
and turn them to fatty acids.
