VOCABULARY LIST
Bitonality when two keys can be heard at the same time.
Blue note a flattened third, fifth or seventh.
Crescendo a gradual increase in dynamics.
Cross-rhythms rhythms that go against the usual pattern of beats (like triplets).
Diminuendo a gradual decrease in dynamics.
Dissonance clashing notes.
Dynamics volume.
Extended chord a chord with an added note (other than the seventh).
Harmony chords.
