Extrinsic Motivation
Definition :
It reflects the desire to do something because of external rewards
such as awards, money, and praise.
Example :
The hamper and gifts are the motivation for being the first
place.

Social Loafing
Definition :
Social loafing is the phenomenon in which people exert less
effort when working collectively on a task.
Example :
Shawn was playing his phone when his friends
are doing their work.

Self-efficacy
Definition :
Self-efficacy is the belief that one is capable of accomplishing
something successfully.
Example :
Mary easily gave up when she faced some problems ( low
self-efficacy)
But at the end, Jack and Shawn was the one who get Mary
back on track by saying that they can do it. ( high selfefficacy)

Self-discrepancy theory
Definition :
Self-discrepancy theory is the self-concept that influenced by
how close we are to the person we want to be that can
cause us to see ourselves quite differently than we actually
are.
Example :
Jack, Mary & Shawn was disappointed they failed to get the
first prize.
Three of them have high expectation that they can be the
champion in the fresco competition.

Definition :
Situational attribution assumes that the cause of an action is
due to external/environment factors.
Example :
Shawn blame Jack for the result that they got.
At first, he refuse to admit that he has the responsibility too.
