Ode to my three cats

Three cats white, black, and grey
1 puffy 1 silky 1 soft
All three are young only a few weeks apart
The first one is the oldest
Beatrice is her name
She is black like midnight
and silky like a Web
Beatrice the beautiful
Beatrice the bold
The cat to curious about the world
A teddy bear covered by a cactus
Wanting hugs but not to be picked up
The second cat is Kai
Oh sweet Kai-bo
Sweet little Kai-bo
Although he's not small at all
But he is so beautiful
With stripes of grey and white and black
Pretty and oblivious
He is as beautiful and vacuous as space
So lost of thought but so kind and so pretty
So soft and grey
But so very confused
The third cat is Regi
Reginald
Rex Regum
Small white one but so vicious
A conquer of pillows and spots
Whirling poof ball of tooth and claw
A little thing youngest of all yet mean
a rose bush beautiful to look at bad to touch
