SANITATION SPECIALIST 2nd Shift SALARY RANGE:

$14.40

As Sanitation Specialist- tasked with cleaning the entire facility after production has finished. The successful
candidate for this position will have prior experience in sanitation-type work, including working with industrial
strength chemicals.
Responsibilities:

Responsible for performing tasks as described and assigned by the department supervisor/manager or lead

Must work as a team player, ensuring cleaning specifications are achieved and in a safe/efficient manner

Prepare production equipment for cleaning by locking out machinery

Foam, scrub, rinse, and sanitize production equipment ensuring that all processing equipment is cleaned to
specification of all food safety guidelines as to not pose a potential food safety risk

Must follow Companys GMPs, SOPs, Safety, Plant rules, other policies and codes of conduct

Work with and around chemicals while following on usage labels and wearing proper PPE

Perform duties in accordance with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Safe Quality Food
(SQF) policies and procedures, as appropriate for location

Qualifications:

Employee is required to work in cold, damp environment.

Must be dependable, flexible and able to work overtime if necessary

Ability to work at heights that are above ground level, using a scissor lift or ladder

Must have basic oral and written communication skills

Ability to stand, reach, stoop, kneel or crouch

Ability to lift and move 50-75 pounds (with assistance, when required)

Available to work a Monday - Friday schedule, with weekend work dictated by production needs
