Dear All the Members of IIISLA

It has been noticed that most corporate surveyor firms are acting as
contract surveyors and operating on PAN India basis by appointing and
utilizing the services of local surveyors / Non Surveyor in utter disregard to
and in violation of Surveyors Regulations and also Code of Ethics of IIISLA
hence all the Members are here by advised that please do not involve
himself directly or indirectly in any type of Network Survey / Contract
Survey/ Out-Sourced Survey Job.

Please carry out all survey work in the personal capacity for which he/she
has been assigned by Insurer or Insured within the purview of the
applicable Rules and Regulations of IRDAI and are bound to follow the code
of ethics of IIISLA.

Survey / Investigation work should not be carried out or out sourced to any
other licensed surveyor / unlicensed person or staff in any capacity and if
any such allegations are proved, then IIISLA Council will be compelled to
take appropriate action against them / all the directors of the surveyor
firm.
