    The Titanic

    You and your partner (if you choose) must


    write a chronological summary of the tragic
    voyage of the Titanic. You must include key
    information and specific dates and times from
    your timeline. To create succinct paragraphs
    you must use comp ound s entences , so you can
    merge points together.
    Remember paragraphs must have a topic
    sentence and concluding sentence. Three or more
    key ideas must be included. If you choose to set
    your sights on a 4 or 4+ you may write a three
    paragraph piece, however, trans itional
    sentences will be expected.
    Completed pieces must have a title (which is not
    the same thing as a topic sentence), and be written

    neatly with the date and your first and last


    name. You must still pass in a final copy even if
    you are working with a partner.
