Reflections on Journal 3

Australian International School held a Sports Day event that took place on the 9th
of February, 2016. The students and teachers wore the colors of their school logo,
they wore red, blue, green, yellow or a white shirt. Each classroom teacher had the
responsibility to take over a specific sport, lead the children and record their scores
afterwards. As John Tuozzo have once said that: Kids playing sports should be
about learning the game theyre playing and having fun doing it and thats what I
have witnessed happening in AIS. Many entertaining events happened during this
day, a teacher dedicated a song to my MST, Ms. Tammy, and she started singing
and dancing along to Let it go and the students were just as excited as she was.
The teachers would also participate in the sports with the children, they would run
with them and cheer them on along side the parents and that was a way for the
teacher and parents to get along better. Im proud to say that Ms. Tammys
students won the first place trophy and the students who won 1st, 2nd and 3rd place
would come and show me their award ribbon vector and as for the ones who lost
we did our best at encouraging them by saying: Its alright and You can do
better next time.
