Texas Rangers is stuck on a decision of offering a 10 year contract to Alex Rodriguez.
Competitors are willing to pay over $100 million.
A Rod has become a free agent at the end of year 2000 and can freely negotiate with other

teams.
The management is planning to offer a nominal value of $252 million.
The main concern of the management is whether the offer is justifiable or not.

In 1993, A-Rod became the first overall pick in Major League Baseball draft.
In 1994, got selected in Major League Baseball.
By the end of 3rd season won a batting title.
