Later, an ant falls into water while walking near a river bank. A dove sees the ant struggling and plucks a leaf, using it to carry the ant to safety just before a hunter aims at the dove.     THE CLEVER CROW

    He started picking up the


    pebbles one by one, dropping
    each into the jug.
    Suddenly, he saw a water jug.
    He looked around and saw
    some pebbles.
    One hot day, a thirsty crow
    was looking for water.
    Sadly, he found that the neck
    of the jug was too narrow.
    Soon it was high enough for
    the crow to drink.
    The crow flew back happily.

    The Dove and The Ant


    Few weeks later, the ant saw
    a bad hunter with a gun
    aiming the dove.
    Then, the dove dropped into
    the water near the struggling
    ant.
    The poor ant lost its balance
    and fell inside the water.
    The dove quickly plucked off a
    leaf.
    The dove flew away safely.
    One hot day, an ant was
    walking near a river bank.
    The thankful ant reached to
    the shore safely.
    The ant quickly bit him on the
    heel.

    The ant was struggling for the


    life in the water and the dove
    felt very sorry for the little
    ant.
