BASIC PRINCIPLES OF WAR:

indiscriminate destruction or injury or inflict
unnecessary pain or suffering

PRINCIPLE OF CHIVALRY

This principle requires the belligerents to give proper


warning before launching a bombardment or prohibi
the use of perfidy in the conduct of hostilities.
EXCEPTION:
This principle does not prohibit Espionage

BELLIGERENT OCCUPATION

It is the temporary military occupation of the enemy


territory during the war.
