Los verbos ser y estar en espaol

The verb to be in Spanish

English speakers can use the verb to be in many contexts, but it is only one verb.
The verb to be, however, is divided into two different verbs in Spanish: the verbs
ser and estar.

First of all, lets review the conjugation of these verbs in Spanish:

* Spanish speakers dont really use the subject pronoun it because they use l
and ella for people, animals, and objects.
** The feminine form of the subject pronouns can be used when talking about
women only.
Examples:

John and Stuart : ellos (they).


Tim and Rachel: ellos (they).
Sophia and Amanda: ellas (they).
