The Tim MacNeil Scholarship was established in 2016 to honor Brother Tim MacNeil and provides a $1,000 award annually to an undergraduate member of the CA Delta chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity who exemplifies scholarship, leadership, and brotherhood. To be eligible, a student must be an active undergraduate member in good standing with at least a 3.2 GPA, demonstrate leadership qualities, exemplify brotherhood, and have been a member for at least 3 semesters. Applications are due by March 18th and finalist interviews will be held the week of April 11th.

Application The Tim MacNeil Scholarship was established in 2016 to honor the memory of Brother Tim MacNeil. The $1,000 award will be given annually to an undergraduate member of The CA Delta RLC who best exemplifies the qualities of Scholarship, Leadership, and the spirit of Fraternal Brotherhood. Selection will be made in the spring semester and awarded the following fall. Eligibility Requirements: Must be an active undergraduate member in good standing at time of award presentation and demonstrate a need of financial assistance; Strong leadership qualities demonstratedeither in the Cal Delta chapter or in university student government, campus organizations, or college activities (Tim served as president of the Cal Delta chapter and editor-in-chief of Del Sudoeste, the college yearbook; and was a member of Blue Key and Oceotl in his undergraduate days); High academic achievement (3.2 GPA or above); A person who exemplifies the trait of brotherhood; and An individual who will have been anundergraduate member of the chapter for at least 3 semesters. Applications must be submitted to the Chapter Counselor no later than Friday, March 18. Finalist Interviews will take place during the week of April 11. The application must be accompanied by a personal letter explaining why the candidatebelieves heis well qualified to receive this award.
