To Whom It May Concern:
Itis with great pleasure and ease that | am writing a letter of
recommendation on behalf of Regina Del Campo BSN, RN.
| have worked with Regina for three years as her charge nurse and then
her Director of Progressive Care Unit and Pediatrics. Regina possesses
great strengths that led me to promote her from staff nurse to charge
nurse of the PCU and Pediatrics units. She demonstrates
professionalism, critical thinking, problem solving, and a dedication to this
‘organization that is one of the highest | have seen. During her time as a
charge nurse | was able to see her develop and grow into a nurse leader
for her units and within the organization. She does not wait for a problem
to come to her, but rather is proactive in anticipating the needs of the
Patients, their families, the hospital, or the nurses.
Regina has a passion and drive for education that | have been able to
witness first hand. In her role as a charge nurse, she has conducted skills
day education for 3 departments, provides education to new staff on
Electronic Medical Record Documentation. Has written and implemented
best practice competencies for newly hired nurses. Her decision in going
back to school to obtain her Master's Degree in Nursing Education has
allowed her to foster and promote her passion. | have no doubt that she
will excel in a position as a olinical educator or nursing instructor.
In closing, Regina's continual commitment to improve practice for the
patients and the profession of Nursing are traits that should be emulated
by all those in health care.
