Stephen Fuhr Elected Chair

of Standing Committee on National Defence
OTTAWA This morning, Stephen Fuhr, Member of Parliament for Kelowna
Lake Country was elected Chair of the Standing Committee on National Defence.
It is an honour to be elected Chair of the Committee, said Mr. Fuhr. I look
forward to working with my colleagues on issues of importance and providing
meaningful input to the government on matters of defence.
The Committee also elected its two vice chairs, Cheryl Gallant, Member for
Parliament for RenfrewNipissingPembroke, and Randall Garrison, Member of
Parliament for EsquimaltSaanichSooke.
