Paper

The name is Scott. Emilee Scott to be exact. They call me Em, or Emmy, unless they are Skeels who calls me Scott, Buck Slayer, or ScootMagoot.

Im a senior in high school, who just turned 17 on July, 27th. I like to play sports, I play volleyball and softball. My dad had always been my
softball coach until I got to high school. I used to only be a pitcher and second baseman. Now not only am I a pitcher, but a shortstop, first
baseman, left fielder, and I have caught several times before as a backup. In volleyball I started out not going to tryouts freshman year
because I was in Texas and couldnt make them, and I didnt want to play due to all the drama there has been in the past. Later on I decided
I wanted to play and asked if I could come and tryout. At first they wouldnt let me but then they decided to give me a chance. I made the JV
team and after a week in got moved to varsity; Ive been on varsity for four years in the position of a middle hitter and blocker. With volleyball
being my favorite, Im going on to continue and play it in college. Hunting is a hobby; Ive shot five deer in my lifetime, two does, a spike
horn, a four point, and a twenty three point. I also love to fish, I have a fishing boat and my dad takes me fishing quite a bit. When I was little
I played basketball for as long as I can remember, I started out a ball girl for the varsity team then decided to play and go to every camp
there was to get better. I quit basketball my junior year so I could focus on volleyball and play AAU. I also danced for nine years, played
soccer for ten years, and was on the swim team for two years, qualified for state and going there and winning first place in the 25yrd
freestyle. Being a senior Ive really stuck down on the things Im most passionate about. I have decided to only play volleyball and softball,
and join the dance team.

I have gone to school here my whole life. I grew up in Kalkaska in a house located in the subdivision behind Northland. I lived next to the
Dunns and the Harbors and let me tell you, my childhood was fun and interesting. When I was six years old my family decided they wanted to build
a house that would better suit us. We sold our house and bought land off of M-72 in Williamsburg to start building. While we were building my family
and I lived with my grandparents on Twin

Birch. It took about a year to build our house, and then we

were finally able to move in. Im the

youngest child; I have two sisters who are both older than

me. Morgan, the oldest, is 24; she is the

mother of my nephew Bentley, who will be 3 in October. My

other sister Bethany is 21; she is currently

attending GVSU in her junior year of studying Physical

Therapy. When I was little my sister Morgan

was diagnosed with Brain Angioma, which means she had a

brain tumor. They found in when she was 9,

she had several surgeries to which they thought would

remove it. Four years later they found it again, and on went more surgeries. The hospital became my home for quite a while. Her tumor is all gone,
the only affects are the memories, a metal plate in her head, and slight paralysis to her right side which makes her walk with a limp and disables her
use to her right hand. Morgan is so happy and healthy now and has an amazing son, she is so strong and I look up to her so much. My mom works
at the hospital and my dad works and manages Specialized Safety Services. I have three dogs, Ozzy, a red lab, Bailee, a white lab, and Scout, a
miniature collie mixed with a dachshund. My best friends are Zoie Adams, and Mackenzie Starr, whom I dont know what Id do without either one of
them.
School is school. Eight long hours a day, five days a week. Everyone wants senior year to be a blow off with easy classes, not me. I decided
to challenge myself a little this year so I could prepare myself for college. With that being said I am taking AP Biology, Honors Bio 2, AP English, and
Honors English. Im going to college to study Sports Management and master in Sports Medicine.
In conclusion I have a pretty busy, yet simple life. I love my friends and family and am a pretty happy and outgoing person who loves
adventures and making sure I have no regrets.
