Svetlost otkrivenja Logosa u delima Ljiljane Bursa
Oaranost, Traganje, Proticanje. Oaranost prirodom, njenim skrivenim ritmom, dubokim titrajem, nespoznatljivom dubinom. Traganje,
za korenima, za saznanjem, za sutinom. Preputanje proticanju, toku,
naizmeninom smenjivanju... Neutaiva potreba za otkrivanjem i enja za (krajnjom) spoznajom Ljiljane Bursa, vodila je njeno umetniko delovanje u istraivanje umetnikih dometa raznih civilizacija i
kultura, nalazei nadahnue u tananosti i lepoti kineskih i japanskih
svitaka; prefinjenoj lepoti kaligrafije/krasnopisa srpskih srednjovekovnih rukopisa, ali i spisa mnogih kako bliskoistonih tako i dalekoistonih kultura.

Nakon svih zanosnih, zavodljivih, nepredvidljivih i dugotrajnih umetnikih traganja faza preispitivanja o bitku. Sinteza, svoenje, zauzimanje stava.
Svest o Logosu. Logos - Um, Re, Slovo. Logos - boanski smisao. Logos - sr svega. Logos iz koga proistie sve, i pitanja, i odgovori.
I ponovo Oaranost, Traganje, Proticanje. Oaranost mogunostima
koje prua slobodna (elektronska) enciklopedija, u otkrivanju, neposrednom uestvovanju. Traganje, za znanjem, za otkriem. Ponovo
proticanje rei, slika, podataka, znanja, sada u virtuelnom prostoru
savremene digitalne tehnologije. Oaranost mogunou da, i pored
nesumnjive dimenzije otuenosti i osame bia koju nose savremene
tehnologije, na Vikipediji, kao slobodnoj enciklopediji, moe svako da
kae svoju re, da da svoj doprinos, da utie. Mogunost koja vraa
na slobodu rei odnosno na odgovornost za re (izreenu) pred sobom, a ne (samo) pred zakonom (drutva). I poptuno nenadano, u

otuenosti savremene tehnologije, pojavljuje se i provejava duhovna


dimenzija, Logos, smisao. Nadahnuta tim saznanjem, umetnica stvara
objekat/skulpturu pod nazivom Logos (2010), knjigu u nastajanju u
vidu rukopisa sastavljenog od novog oblika svitaka, na kojima su
tekstovi o Logosu odtampani sa Vikipedije na grafo-foliji, koja svojom providnou ne dozvoljava da se ita direktno sa nje. Da bi itanje bilo mogue potrebno je svaki list/svitak staviti u grafo aparat (za
projekciju), ime, na svojevrsan nain prkosei samoi i izdvojenosti
koju namee internet, Bursaeva ponovo vraa na zajedniki doivljaj
pri itanju, saznanju, spoznaji, u kome su najdragoceniji, prema njenim reima dugi dah i zajedniko disanje.
Osobenost veine radova u njenom dosadanjem opusu ini stanje
prosijavanja svetlosti iz zapisa slikanih delikatnim nanosom zlatne boje, pojaanim providnou podloge (paus papira), na kojoj je, i
pored providnosti, ipak prisutno odreeno zgusnue materije. Na
radovima se na poseban nain otelotvoruje svetlost delikatno nanesenih zlatnih povrina, na kojima svetlost sija iz sebe sama, bilo da
se radi o slikanim slovima (inicijalima), reima (molitve/Jevanelja), vinjetama ili pak o vlatima trave u prostornim instalacijama, koje svojom vibrantnou i titrajem jo vie doprinose tom utisku.
Pred delima Ljiljane Bursa postajete svesni dimenzije isijavanje uzviene, duhovne svetlosti, kako u samim pojedinanim delima, tako i
u njihovom meudejstvu. Dimenzija uznoenja do stanja isijavanja
nestvorene svetlosti, postignuta na ovoj izlobi u konkretnom galerijskom prostoru, u duhu je najviih dometa srpskog srednjovekovnog umetnikog izraza u domenu slikarstva.
U njenim delima sublimisana je sva poetika i skoro nestvarna lepota duhovne svetlosti kao stanja uzvienog bivstvovanja, koju je ova
umetnica, dubokom poniranjem u samu bit Logosa kao Boje sveprisutne svetlosti, uspela da utka u konkretna umetnika dela.
Najnovija izloba Ljiljane Bursa svedoi o postojanosti duhovne vertikale, koja, i pored sve povrnosti, bezoseajnosti i pohlepe, koje se
nameu kao ideal u savremenom svetu, ostaje nepresuno izvorite
uvek nanovo doivljenog dubokog nadahnua ljudskog bia, i koja u
njenim delima dosee vrhunske nivoe savremenog umetnikog izraza.

Light of the Revelation of Logos in the Works of Ljiljana Bursa
Enchantment. Quest. Flowing.
Enchantment by the nature, by
its hidden rhythm, its deep vibrations, by its inconceivable depths.
Quest for the roots, for the knowledge, for the essence. Surrendering to flowing, to streaming, to
intermittent changes The unquenchable need for unveiling
and the longing for the (ultimate)
knowledge of Ljiljana Bursa
guided her artistic work towards
the research of artistic achievements of different civilisations and cultures, towards finding inspiration in the delicacy and the beauty of
Chinese and Japanese scrolls or in the refined beauty of the calligraphy/penmanship of the Serbian medieval manuscripts but also in the
scripts of the Near and Far East cultures.
And after all the thrilling, seducing, unforseeable and long lasting artistic searches there came the phase of rethinking the essence. Synthesis, reduction, taking stand.
Awareness of the Logos. Logos Intellect. Word. Letter. Logos Divine
Sense. Logos the core of it all. Logos which is the source of everything, of all questions and answers.
And again Enchantment. Quest. Flowing. Fascination with possibilities
offered by the free (electronic) encyclopaedia in discovering, in direct
participation. Searching for knowledge, for disclosure. Repeated flowing of words, pictures, data, knowledge, now in the virtual space of
current digital technology. Enchanted by the possibility that not withstanding the alienation and loneliness of the human being inferred by
contemporary technologies, Wikipedia, as a free access encyclopaedia
allows people to have their say, to contribute, to make impact. Possibility that restores the freedom, that is,restores the responsibility for the
words man (says) to himself and not (only) when observing legal regulations (set by the society). And completely unexpectedly, within the
alienation caused by current technologies, there appears and prevails
the spiritual dimension, Logos, the sense. Inspired by this the artist

creates an object / sculpture under the title Logos (2010), book in progress as a manuscript consisting of new forms of scrolls containing
texts about Logos transferred from Wikipedia onto a transparency film
which does not allow direct reading due to its transparency. To read it,
it is necessary to insert every sheet/scroll separately into an overhead
camera (to enable reproduction) and thus in a specific manner and
defying the loneliness and separation imposed by the Internet, Bursa
brings back to us the common experience of reading, learning, understanding and according to her, the long breath and shared breathing
are the most valuable therein.
Most of her previous works are marked by shining through of the
light from inscriptions painted by delicate application of golden
paint, emphasized by transparency of the ground (tracing paper), still
however showing presence of certain condensation of the matter.
The light of the delicately applied golden surfaces materializes itself
in her works in a specific way. In them the light shines from inside its
inner self whether they are painted letters (initials), words (of prayer,
Gospel), vignettes or leaves of grass in her space installations which
by their vibrancy and thrilling further emphasize the impression.
In front of the works of Ljiljana Bursa you become aware of the dimension the radiation of the sublime has, of the spiritual light both
in separate works themselves and in their interaction. The dimension
of exaltation up to the state of radiating not made by hands light,
created in this exhibition staged in a gallery space follows the spirit
of highest achievements of the Serbian medieval artistic expression in
painting.
Her works emanate the entire poetics and almost surreal beauty of the
spiritual light as the state of exalted existence which this artist has successfully woven into actual works of art by penetrating deep the very
essence of the Logos as Gods all-present light.
The latest exhibition of Ljiljana Bursa testifies the persistence of the
spiritual acme which in spite of all possible superficiality, lack of emotions and greediness imposed on us as the ideal model of the modern
world, still remains an inexhaustible source of repeatedly lived deepest inspiration of human beings and which in her works reaches the
highest peaks of contemporary artistic expression.

Roena je 27.10.1946 g. u Kragujevcu, Srbija. Studirala je na Likovnoj
akademiji u Beu, Austrija, a usavravala se i studijski boravila u SAD,
Nemakoj, Francuskoj i A.R.Siriji. lan je ULUS-a od 1972 g., korisnik
stipendije Fond Mladih 1972-74 i 1975-77 g.
Od 1971 godine priredila je vie od 40 samostalnih izlobi i uestvovala je
na preko tri stotine grupnih izlobi u zemlji i inostranstvu.
Njena dela nalaze se u uglednim muzejsko-galerijskim ustanovama i
privatnim zbirkama irom nekadanje Jugoslavije i u svetu.
Osniva je i predsednik Art Forum,
1999 -2000 g. izvela je performans Most Svetlosti na mostu u Kosovskoj
Mitrovici.
