Our primary goal at Christa McAuliffe Middle School is to equip our students with the tools they
need to be successful. We realize that some students need additional support and benefit from
small group instruction. In an effort to provide this support we offer Saturday Academy.
Saturday Academy is an opportunity for students to receive instruction in Math, English and
Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science. The lessons on Saturday are designed to review and
reteach objectives that have been taught in class.

You are receiving this letter because your student recently received a grade below a 75 on a
unit quiz or test. We are inviting your student to the next Saturday Academy.
Saturday Academy is held from 8:00-12:00. Transportation is provided at the feeder elementary
campuses. In order to ride the bus, students should be at the elementary campus by 7:30. Students
will be dropped off at the same location. Students will also receive morning and afternoon snacks.
