*Anticipatory Set
As the students walk in the classroom TTW greet them and hand them Force of Nature worksheet to
review Newtons 1st Law of Motion.

TTW instruct the students to get settled and pull out a sheet of paper to take notes on.
TTW explain the students should be able to take at least 10 points of notes from this
PowerPoint.
TTW set up Newtons 1st Law PowerPoint and go over it with the students.
After the PowerPoint TTW give the students 5-8 minutes to complete the worksheet they
were given at the beginning of class while the teacher collects the notes for a classwork work
grade. (TTW pass back the notes tomorrow)
While the students are working on this assignment, TTW pass out 2 nd Law of Motion Cornell
notes.
TTW review the worksheet with the students to check for understanding of Newtons 1 st Law.
TTW go over the Cornell notes using the ladybug and Promethean board.
