    You should stress the importance of the patient taking their lithium as prescribed by the
    psychiatrist and that non-compliance will become apparent when the patient has their
    lithium level checked. The candidates interpersonal skills will be assessed by the
    examiner throughout the course of the interview; with marks being awarded for a suitable
    level of rapport being established with the patient.
