COMMITTEE CHAIR ENDORSES HUNT
Former Chairman of the Kanawha County Democratic Executive Committee, Norris
Light, announced today that he is endorsing Democratic Congressional Candidate Mark
Hunt for Congress.
Light, a five-term chairman, says Hunt is a longtime friend who has the knowledge and
experience West Virginia needs in Washington.
Mark is honest, sincere and as an experienced legislator, always put serving or people
above corporate interests, says Light. Mark will carry his dedication to the people of
this great State with him to Congress. He is what we need in a candidate, and will always
fight for West Virginians and what we stand for.
Hunt says hes honored to have Lights endorsement and support for his congressional
bid.
Norris has known me for many years and knows I will fight for West Virginians and the
values we hold dear, says Hunt. West Virginians will be better served by a true West
Virginian; one that shares our values, our work ethic and our Mountaineer pride; a West
Virginian by birth; a West Virginian who is a product of our public schools. I was married
here. I am raising my family here, and just like every West Virginian, I want my family to
