REFLECTION
Interesting. It is very interesting to know where human consciousness
started. I realized how important the deep thought in satisfying the
individuals questions. As the thousand years passed by, we could see how
this deep thought evolved and how important the critical thinking in
answering all questions in mind.
As of today, it would very funny to know how ancient philosophers
think that way. Imagine, how can human came from air, water and fire?
Crazy right? But if we look another way around, without them we cannot
justify the knowledge we have today. We cannot have facts that had been
theories before. Without them, the following philosophers could not have
been successful. Imagine the world today without this philosophers.
Wondering is indeed very powerful in humans discoveries. It lets
people to gather more information and to discover more things. By asking
yourself of what, why, where, how and when, you can already travel by
yourself and you can already wander even you are only at one place. It is like
the way you imagining things while reading books. Where you can see
different scenarios the way you wanted to be. This is how I imagined the way
these ancient philosophers did before, while reading information about them.
Knowledge is power. Power is knowledge. It is really powerful if you
have knowledge in your surroundings. For me it is very satisfying if you are
aware on what is happening on your surroundings. Being conscious is like
having care, that you know the worth of the things that surround you
because you are putting your attention to them. For me being conscious can
be connected to self-satisfaction. I think the philosophers would not have
different statements on different things if they already satisfied because they
are keep wondering.
I am grateful to ancient philosophers because without them we cannot
have this consciousness and probably we cannot discover the world.
