Dear Mr. McAdam:
I wanted to thank you for giving me the opportunity to work with you and assisting me in
organizing my senior project blood drive. It was an experience worth having as I was able to host
my first blood drive after assisting as a volunteer in numerous blood drives in the past. I have
enjoyed the time that I have spent working with you this past school year. Given your busy
schedule, I knew that you had to maneuver around your time to meet with me. I am very grateful
for you for generously giving your time, knowledge and patience.
As a result of your knowledge and guidance, I was able to gain an unforgettable experience as I
was able to promote the importance of donating blood to my fellow peers and branch out to
different organizations in the process of organizing the drive. Under your guidance, I was able to
create a successful project and meet my blood unit goal as well. In all, I am thankful to have had
you as my mentor and to have had the opportunity to work with you.
On March 24th from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Santa Susana High School, I will be giving my
presentation to a panel of judges. I would really like you to attend my presentation. If, however,
your schedule does not permit you to come that day, I understand. Once again, thank you for you
time and assistance this year.
