Equipment and Facilities: 10 Hula Hoops, 10


Medium Basketballs, 20 Polyspots. None of which
need to be color specific.

Safety Considerations: There are a number of safety


considerations for this lesson. Students will be on
asphalt, there are metal poles on the play space and
students must be aware of each other as they dribble
around the play space.
Lesson Specifics
Behavioral Contingencies: 1 verbal warning, 2 sit
Previously Learned Skills: Bounce Pass a basketball
out.
from the previous lesson, and dribble a basketball
with minimum success.

Teaching Strategy: Direct Instruction will be the


primary strategy for the lesson. Also scaffolding
instruction during lesson.
