The Earth

4.6 Billion Years Ago


Earth was 1200 degrees C. Earth was liquid
rock. There was no air in the atmosphere.
Meteors were crashing into earth. There was no
moon. A planet crashed into earth causing lava.

3,500 Million Years Ago


Steratetiles then brought oxegen. Carbon
Dioxide and glucose were on Earth.
Photosynthesis began to occur. The earth was
breathing!

1, 500 Million Years Ago


At this point earths core was hotter than the
surface of the sun! All the island joined
together. It was 13 degrees celsius and 18 hour
days.

3.6 Billion Years Ago

3,800 Million Years Ago


Islands were beginning to form. The earth was
extremely hot. Volcanoes joined to create land.
Then asteroids brought amino acids. Now the
earth was very cold. Bacteria formed- the first
form of life.

The Moon was formed very close to earth causing


big waves. More meteors were in earth than
water. The earth had cooled to 70-80 degrees C
forming the crust. Lava was beginning to crack
through the surface.
750 Million Years Ago
The islands split apart. Volcanoes brought
carbon dioxide with water and rain began to
take up its precipitation cycle. The
temperature dropped very, very, very cold. Ice
sheets were 3 K thick! Volcanoes brough carbon

The ice brought carbon dioxide!
