PUBLISHER: American Institute of Physics YEAR: 2014 Reviewer: Rafael Miravete, National University TED 690 Overview: This article talks about how Information and Communication Technology has increased significantly among Malaysians today. Its application of Internet is not solely composed of emails, web pages, and chats, but to education as well. Its use beyond the afore-mentioned is critical to countries who have well prepared instructors that can use such asset to the benefit of the student. If the students are ready for its use beyond the norm, teachers need to be one step ahead to teach its use. Critical Evaluation: We live in a society where technology is around us. Everything is now computer/internet based, thus integrating it into the classroom is nothing short than needed. Students are ready to use the internet within the classroom setting to become better prepared in the real world. This article is quite helpful in a personal level since it brings out points that talk about how prepared I am as the teacher teaching with technology. None-the-less, I do plan on taking courses that are geared towards using Google Classroom, which will greatly change the way students do work in my class.
