Pride Sample: ROP Training Certificate
The ROP Training Certificate provides evidence that I am trained, certified and
knowledgeable in vital signs, blood borne pathogens (knowledge of infectiou diseases), CPR,
first aid, patient care, HIPAA (patient privacy laws), and OSHA (medical rules and regulations).
To earn this certificate, I had to train and learn these procedures and protocol during my first
semester in ROP Medical Technologies. When my instructor sees that I have performed these
procedures and show knowledge of medical protocol efficiently, he will acknowledge that I have
shown accomplished to show the skills I have learned. Thus, I was awarded with this certificate.
I take great pride in this certificate because these skills will allow me to help families and
patients who need medical attention. This certificate also holds proof that I specialize and contain
knowledge in these procedures and protocol. These skills have not only guided me in my career
and education, but it has also helped me grow in confidence and teamwork. In order to excel in
the following procedures/protocol, I had to communicate and work with my peers, since some of
these procedures require teamwork. Most importantly for me, this training has improved my
ability to communicate. Before I took this class, I hesitated often to communicate with others for
assistance and teamwork. But this class has helped me be comfortable about speaking to other
people. Because of that, I was able to get to know more people and communicate easily to assist,
for assistance, and for teamwork. Therefore, that is why this certificate holds great significance
to me.
