Here I choose the argument #1 to analysis. The Purpose of this short
argument is to suggest the vice president hiring their Appian Roadways. I
think the Appian Roadways maybe is competing with the Good Intentions
Roadways for the project of the access roads for shopping mall.
In the text, he contrasted the road built by Good Intentions Roadways and
their company in the same year as the evidence to show their quality is
much better than Good Intentions Roadways. Whats more, he also indicated
that they hired a new quality-control manager and bought new paving
machinery. As far as I can see, I think his argument is clearly expounded
their companys advantages and the reason why we choose them as the
builder of road. My only confusion about his argument is the environment of
those two roads. Just like how many cars pass a day, weather and so on.
Quality is not the only thing that decide the life of road.
