Sextraffickingoccursmostlyinlessdevelopedcountries,butitisalsoseentooccur
domesticallybecauseitisoccurringallaroundtheworld.Sextraffickingislikethemodernday

atleast100,000childrenareinchildprostitutioneveryyear.Theaverageageofthesechildren
are1214yearsold.Inaddition,domesticsextraffickingofminorsisaprominentandgrowing
issueinthegreaterSacramentoarea.AccordingtotheU.S.StateDepartment,majorsporting
events,suchastheOlympics,WorldCup,andSuperBowl,providebothanopportunitytoraise
awarenessabouthumantraffickingaswellasachallengetoidentifytraffickingvictimsand
