I am submitting this cover letter and resume in response to your job opening of
Restaurant General Manager at your Prescott Valley location. I have over 12 years
of experience in the field of Restaurant Management and would love to offer my
skills to your establishment.
I am interested in applying and interviewing for the position you have posted on
Craigslist in regards to the Restaurant General Management position. My friend and
colleague, Christine Reese, referred me to you, as she has worked for you in the
past.
As before mentioned, I have over 12 years of experience in the Food service
industry, with most of my time spent as a General Manager and Training Manager. I
consistently met and exceeded the goals set forth by the owners of the company,
and was awarded with Assistant General Manager of the year in 2007 and General
manager of the year in 2009. I attended trainings and certification in the
programming of many types of POS systems. I am customer oriented and believe
that all team members should have an owner mentality and strive to give the
customers a WOW! experience with every visit.
