Geometric Design Instructions

May 4, 2015
1. Start With a 25x25 square piece of paper.
2. Fold paper vertically, diagonally and horizontally to locate the center of the

paper.
3. Draw a line from top and bottom and left to right along the perpendiculars
creating two segments intersecting at the center of the square creating 4 equal

quadrants.

4. Draw a square by connecting the 4 endpoints of the perpendiculars

intersecting the center of each side of the square.

Line Design

1. Start off by marking off by 5 points 1 cm apart on each perpendicular.

2. Connect the endpoint of the top perpendicular, to the point closest to the Y

axis.

3. Repeat going down one cm over one cm until you fill all of the points are
connected.

5. Create a line design on the perpendiculars using 12 CM on each half line.

6. Draw lines on the diagonals running to the center of the square, square, and line
design, but stop once you get to the line design. The spot you touch on the line design
is the center of that semi-circle.

7. Create a line design at the corners, in the angles formed by the diagonals and the
sides of the square.

8. From where the perpendiculars of the square touch the midpoint of the side of the
paper, draw lines from the midpoint of the paper to the diagonal that touches the center
of the semicircle made from the line design. Repeat on each side creating a 4 point star
surrounding the line design.
