2014 Team Building Test ME 228 / 208 Freshmen Experience

Objective: Encourage teams to work together to solve different problems that require individual
strengths of the team members and teamwork. And of course, get to know each other and have
some fun.
Instructions: You must complete as many tasks as you can by 9:30 AM. Tasks may be questions
that require an answer (to be written on the sheet), more complicated drawings or fabrications of
something (to be included in the envelope), or even for the team to perform some action at a
specified location (which would need to be signed off by an instructor). The numbers in the lefthand column indicate the maximum number of points that will be awarded for each task. Provide
all answers on the master sheet given. Dr. Maletsky or another instructor for the course will sign
off on any required event.
When you have returned and completed the tasks, you should submit your folder with all the
answers and anything else you need to produce. On the front of your folder write all of your team
members names as well as the name of your team that relates to the image you were given this
morning.
