o Props Head
Cooked food in black box and ran it up to the stage
Ordered and then organized all plates, cups, utensils, and other
restaurant supplies
Organized a system for bringing supplies back and forth between the
stage and the black box
o Set Design
Tech Theatre class designed a restaurant on stage which housed actors
and audience within it. My design concept was implemented into the
final design.
Helped decide placement of tables and kitchen; solved sightline issues

Built walls, kitchen counter, used jigsaw & router to cut out windows

o Set Design
Helped design a grand piano with a false top for actors dramatic
entrances.

Assembled the walls onto platforms with small castors, and helped mount the
two white French doors

Moved long walls during scene transitions to change between the Bennett
residence and Lady Catherines residence.

The Hobbit (Spring 2013)


o Set Construction
Helped construct the large cave, which was made out of chicken wire, 2x4s,
muslin, and newspaper
o Props Crew
Helped to store and distribute the weapons in the fight scene; also helped
decorate Smaug, a puppet dragon with inside controls

Tech theatre 1 and Tech Theatre 2 (comes with Genie certification!)

Work Experience

Hired by Fairfax County Public Schools as a Student Technician


o Events managed include The Nutcracker, Rick Riordans presentation (author of Percy
Jackson series), dance festivals, etc.

Leadership Experience

Completed Counselor in Training Program and Leader in Training Program (two separate
summers) at Capital Camps, a Jewish overnight camp
Planned community event after back to back suicides at Woodson High School
Officer of fundraising/activities in ITS
