Chinese New Year is celebrated by bringing a giant Chinese Dragon winding through the streets and is the symbol of good luck, in Chinese mythology dragons play a large role. Favourite Family Films The most well known film with a dragon in it is Shrek followed by How to train you dragon. There are many more dragon films out there. Books Some favourite books of dragon lovers include: How to train your dragon series by Cressida Cowell, Dragon Rider by Cornelia Funke, Dragonspell series by Katherine Kerr and The Farseer trilogy by Robin Hobb.
