RESOLUTION TO REMOVE CONGRESS MEMBERS IN VIOLATION OF ATTENDANCE


POLICIES

1 WHEREAS, Article II, Section 7, Subsection (c) of the IUSA Constitution states that members of the
2 IUSA Congress, “may be impeached and removed from office…upon missing three regularly scheduled
3 Congress meetings without a proxy present for two of those meetings;” and,
4
5 WHEREAS, “Absence will be determined by the failure of the attendance record and roll call votes to
6 show the presence of a member;” and,
7
8 WHEREAS, The attendance record shows that the following IUSA Congress members have missed three
9 meetings, and not had proxies present for at least two of them; and,

11 WHEREAS, Attendance at IUSA Congress meetings is necessary for IUSA Congress members to
12 adequately represent the students who elected them to the Congress;
13
14 THEREFORE LET IT BE RESOLVED, That the Student Body Congress impeach and remove the
15 following members of Congress from office:
