3. Procedures and Activities
Teacher will review Alabama Gal. Teacher will sing phrase by phrase. Students
will echo. Teacher will explain and demonstrate play party movements. Students will
perform movements.
Old Sow game. Teacher will pick a chaser and a runner. Teacher will start singing
and start the game. Class will sing along.

Students will practice reading notes on a staff from smart board. Teacher will
explain how to practice independently with handsigns and thinking solfege. Students will
speak and sign solfege. Students will whisper and sign solfege. Students will think and
sign solfege.
Teacher will introduce Little Green Frog by singing multiple times. Teacher will ask
students questions about lyrics.

4. Assessment: Aural and visual observation.


5. Closure: Share one thing you learned today in class.
