Personal Profile

Music has always been a passion to me and since its been such a
influence from a young age it will help me to succeed in my future
career. I have a passion for music, which drove me to start producing
my own tracks as well as start to DJ. I have always had good listening
skills and value the safety of my hearing. This benefits me when
identifying key parts of songs or sounds and Im also able to use these
skills to identify where a certain instrument was recorded (e.g. by
identifying the size of the room based of the resonance of the sounds
hitting the walls). This helps me to identify what works well in a
recording studio and how Im able to change the surrounding areas to
improve the sound quality.
I have also done voluntary event work to benefit me in the
understanding of how to use an analogue and digital mixers as well as
setting up for a live event at Northampton College and performing as a
DJ at the Roadmender.
The course that Im currently doing helps me to know how to set up
equipment correctly and professionally, which will be an advantage to
me when being a producer and setting up equipment in the studio to
record correctly and achieve good sound quality recordings. I always
keep up to date with my latest assignments for my BTEC Level 3 Music
Technology course and I always aim for the highest grades as possible.
In the first year I have achieved a Double Grade Distinction Distinction
(DD) and Im currently on track to achieve a DDD* grade by the end of
my BTEC Level 3 Extended National Diploma.
Many different music producers and artists such as M4SONIC and Don
Diablo have influenced me to become a producer/DJ. I have a good
understanding of all different types of music genres, which will
defiantly help me in this course because I will be accepting of all types
of music in all forms.

I am currently at Northampton College and looking for a weekend Job as a

Radio or Club DJ.
I am studying Level 3 BTEC music technology and am in my second year
having achieved a Double Grade Distinction Distinction in my first year.
