    An archaeological watching brief was conducted during the construction of a water mains pipe-line extending from Stinsford Crossing along Slyer’s Lane to Robin’s Barrow, north of Stinsford, Dorset. Pipe trenches revealed Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age flint scrapers, rectangular cut features containing Late Bronze/Early Iron Age ceramic sherds and Early Iron Age rim sherds, and post-medieval marl pits and limestone boundary markers.
