HYDRAULIC PRESSURE TESTS

NOTE:

Always replace pressure plug. Plug is self-sealing type.

Line Pressure Test Procedure

1. Check engine and transaxle fluid levels, and add fluid as necessary. Warm engine and transaxle to normal
operating temperature. Install pressure gauge to line pressure port. See Fig. 6 and Fig. 7 .
2. Set parking brake and block wheels. Apply foot brake fully while line pressure test at stall speed is
performed. Start engine and measure line pressure at idle and stall speed in "D", "2", "1" and "R"
positions. When measuring line pressure at stall speed, follow the stall speed test procedure. See STALL
SPEED TEST . Note pressure readings and refer to specifications. See LINE PRESSURE
SPECIFICATIONS table.
