MAYORS ASSOCIATION ENDORSES HUNT Glen Buck Chestnut, Mayor of Belle and President of the Eastern Kanawha County Mayors Association, announced today that he is endorsing Mark Hunt for Congress,. Chestnut says during Hunts legislative service, he treated the eastern Kanawha County town well, just as he did every other area he represented. He says its that kind of experience and dedication to people we need in Congress. Some of my biggest accomplishments as Mayor have been with Marks help, says Chestnut. After being appointed Mayor in 2011, Mark work closely with me to secure funding for much needed improvements to town facilities. There was no issue too big or too small that he wouldnt help with or get involved in when we needed him. Im confident that as our Congressman, Mark will always put the people he represents first. We need a Congressman with his dedication and experience in Washington. Hunt says this endorsement is special to him because hes proud of the work hes done in the legislature. I will fight hard for West Virginians on the issues we are all passionate about, just like I did during my years of public service, says Hunt. Im a West Virginian who is a product of our public schools. I was married here. I am raising my family here, and just like every West Virginian, I want family to be happy, healthy and successful. I will invest my time and efforts into making a better life for all West Virginians. ###
