Information sought:
(a) Furnish the details of total list of members of Andhra Cotton Mills (AP/3040) Proddutur,
Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh showing the information regarding name of the Worker,
Address, Date of Birth, date of appointment in the unit, date of superannuation (60
years), amount of monthly wages of worker, provident fund account number of the
worker, (AP/3040), date of settlement of family pension (EPF), Family pension Fund
(FPF) amount paid to each member on settlement, date of settlement of employees
provident fund (EPF), Date of birth/age of each member as on the date of joining the
EPF membership.
(b) Furnish the date of settlement of family pension (FPF) (code no. AP/3040) of each
member given in the list.
(c) Furnish the Family pension fund (FPF) (Code No. AP/3040) amount paid to each
member on settlement given in the list.
(d) Furnish the date of settlement of employees provident fund (EPF) (code no. AP/3040)
of each member given in the list.
Grounds for the Second Appeal:
The CPIO has not provided the desired information.

The appellant stated that he needs the date(s) of settlement of EPF & FPF of workers of
Andhra Cotton Mills. He explained that the information is needed by him as the workers who have
been paid after 01/04/1993 are eligible for pension. The CPIO stated that the establishment was
closed in 1986 and the records are very old, however, the appellant is free to inspect the available
records and take whatever information he needs. The appellant agreed.
Decision notice:
As agreed by the CPIO he should permit the appellant to inspect the relevant records and
also allow him to take notes therefrom.
The appeal is disposed of accordingly.
