About Amur Leopards

Amur Leopards are the rarest wildcats in the world. They live in Russia so they
tend to have a thicker fur coat than other leopards due to the cold climate.
The Amur leopard can run at speeds of up to 37 miles per hour. It has also
been reported to leap more than 19 feet horizontally and up to 10 feet
vertically.

Location
Amur Leopards used to be
found in Northern China but
are now found in Russia.

Whytheyareimportant
Saving them ensures conservation of
their habitat. Conservation of their
habitat helps out other animals,
including Amur tigers and prey species
like deer.
