Exploring emerging technologies for Languages learning and teaching.

The perfect, hassle free way of learning something new without feeling overwhelmed.
An adaption of the popular, global, “23 Things!” program whereby Languages teachers come together
online and offline to explore 23 small but useful applications of ICT for Languages learning and
teaching. Participants, in small groups, will be introduced to new tools and concepts on a weekly basis
and supported by a facilitator‐mentor.
How it works...

At the beginning of each term teachers will be invited to join a group. The group (of
up to 10 participants) will initially meet face‐to‐face in order to set goals, get to know
one another and gain familiarity with the initial ICT tools.

The facilitator will send email alerts of the new “thing/s” for the week each Monday,
and participants will engage in the new technology in their own way during the week
and let the rest of the group know how they went.

Participants will also be invited to join and mentor new groups in
subsequent terms to collaborate and share their learning if they would like
to do so.
