Radio Frequency Identification

RFID: Introduction
Identifying an object using Radio Frequency
RFID systems originated way back in the 1940s,
when the U.S. government used transponders to
distinguish friendly aircrafts from enemy
aircrafts.
Nowadays commonly found Music Stores ,
Supermarkets , Clothes tags as an anti-theft
device.

Conclusions

A great deal of research and development is

currently under way in the RFID security field
to mitigate both present and futuristic risks.

RFIDs potential benefits are large, and were

sure to see many novel applications in the
futuresome of which we cant even begin to
imagine.

The future of RFID is very bright and the

worldwide radio frequency ID market is
expected top $7bn by 2008
