PILOT STYLE 2140 Graphite with PTFE

PILOT STYLE 2140 is a diagonally braided from 100% pure gPTFE-yarn (PTFE with
incorporated graphite). It has excellent heat dissipating properties and an extremely low
coefficient of friction. This packing does not adhere to shafts orspindles. BAM approval.
Chloride content < 20 ppm.

Application:
PILOT STYLE 2140 is mainly a valve packing, it can also be used for slow moving rotary
and reciprocating equipment like plunger pumps etc. Suitable for very demanding
applications in most industries, including the paint and lacquer industry. It can be used in
connection with most media including the most aggressive ones. Also suitable for oxygen,
paints, lacquers, varnishes, etc. Not suitable for: Alkali metals, fluorine and fluorine
compounds at high temperatures and pressures, fuming nitric acid, aqua regia.
