IMPORTANT NEWS - UPDATED

NORTHERN EUROPEAN FLIGHT DISRUPTIONS DUE TO

VOLCANCIC ERUPTION SITUATION IN ICELAND

Eligibility:
LX Passengers holding tickets issued on / before Friday 16 April 2010, for flights cancelled departing
between 15 April 2010 and 23 April 2010.

GOODWILL POLICY :

Rebooking for passengers who are en route:

Change of booking class is permitted free of charge - booking lowest available booking class within same
compartment on LX operated flights for departures until Sunday 03 May

Please note:

• All tickets require re-issue and endorsement: “GOODWILL Volcano”

• Partner airline booking class must be matched to the applicable LX booking class.

• NEW !! Where LX flights are not available OS / LH / SN / BD operated flights ( including long haul
) are permitted – booking lowest available booking class within same compartment for departures
until Sunday 03 May

Rebooking for passengers yet to depart New Zealand:

Passengers holding confirmed reservations for flight departures between 21 – 23 April 2010 are permitted
to rebook free of charge onto LX operated flights only until 31 Dec 2010, as per original booking class
and conditions of the original ticket.

The change of booking class is not permitted.

Please note:

• All tickets require re-issue and endorsement: “GOODWILL Volcano”

• Upgrade to higher booking classes are at passengers own expense.

• Partner airline booking class must be matched to the applicable LX booking class.

REFUND :

For passengers holding Swiss Tickets (724 paper):

On passengers request tickets may be fully or partially refunded, possible cancellation penalties and / or
cancellation service charge (s) will be waived.

For passengers holding other carriers ticket documents with LX carriage on the ticket:

Please contact the ticket issuing carrier.

Please ensure all staff and agents are informed of the above advice.
