What is family?
A fundamental social group in society
typically consisting of one or two parents and

Although everyone has their own definition of
family, the one we will discussing is the
immediate family consisting of parents and
children.

WorKing Moms
Working Mothers are very common in today's age. It is now seen as the
norm, with everyone striving for a career.
Some people have strong views on whether it is a positive or negative
effect on the child.
loneliness
depression
less money coming into the house
for temporary stay at home moms,
harder to get back into the work

Functionalist Views of
The parents ,in a two parent household, work together to take care of
family
the child.
They are responsible for creating well rounded members of society
The parents impact on the children can determine how the children
will be as parents.
essentially the purpose is to replace dead family members.
